Education | "Green" school in Yavneh

The green school in Yavne is built according to principles of green sustainable construction. 2-floor and 1-floor wings create a big pitched roof inclining to the south and covered with photovoltaic cells. The roof creates common sloped spaces with high windows facing north and admitting plenty sunlight and ventilation. The school comprises of 18 classrooms, two classrooms for special education and auxiliary rooms. Works were completed in 2012.
